Maildrop now keeps itself up to date in the background, so you're always on the latest version without having to click an update prompt.
Anonymous usage stats.
Maildrop now sends a small anonymous daily ping — only a random ID and the app + macOS version, never any email, file, or client information — so I can see how many people use it and which versions are out there. You can turn it off any time in Settings.
