Emails can't be filed half-written any more.
Maildrop now waits until Outlook has finished writing an email before filing it — previously a large email on a slow disk could be filed truncated, with attachments missing.
Multi-email drags are tracked to the end.
Dragging several emails at once now watches the whole batch — if Outlook stalls partway, Maildrop tells you how many arrived instead of silently losing the rest.
Attachments that used to vanish.
Text attachments (like CSVs from Apple Mail) and emails forwarded as attachments are now saved with the filing instead of being silently dropped. Emails in Japanese, Chinese and other encodings also decode correctly now.
Two crashes fixed.
Opening an .eml file while Maildrop wasn't running, and closing then reopening Settings, no longer crash the app.
Shortcuts you can actually find.
The matter picker now shows the ⌘1–⌘8 shortcuts next to your recent matters, highlights follow the mouse, and the destination chip hints at ⌘L. Clear All asks before discarding typed work, error messages now offer Try Again, and Undo Last Save lives in the ⋯ menu after the confirmation disappears.
Smoother under the hood.
Typing and keyboard navigation in the filing panel now use the Mac's native focus system — Tab, Shift-Tab and Escape behave like every other Mac app, and VoiceOver can follow along.
